DentaQuest provides dental coverage to Medicaid-eligible adults and children in New York who are members of MVP Health Care plans, including:

• MVP Care Children Medicaid
  
• MVP Care Adult Medicaid
• MVP Care CHP
• MVP Care HARP

Prevention

• Oral exams (every six months)
• Dental cleanings (every six months)
• Bitewing x-rays
• Fluoride – children ages 6 to 20 only (every six months)

Treatments

• Fillings – one per 24 months
• Crowns – one per tooth every 60 months
• Root Canal – one per tooth per lifetime
• Extractions – one per lifetime
• Periodontics – one per 12 or 24 months, same quadrant, depending on age restrictions
• Dentures– one per tooth, per 96 months
• Implants – one per tooth, per lifetime
